ERC De Morette offers the possibility of freezing your stallion's semen. We are happy to advise and assist you.

The number of straws obtained per jump depends on the number of sperm cells your stallion gives. The concentration of sperm cells in a straw can vary depending on the method of freezing. It is therefore important to know that the number of straws made should always be seen in proportion to the concentration of sperm cells in the straw.

After each jump, a quality check is performed on the frozen straws. This allows us to determine how many straws are needed for an optimal dose of sperm when inseminating a mare.

At ERC De Morette, we always aim for a progressive motility (straight-line motility) of above 30% and around 200 million properly motile sperm cells per insemination dose.
