The ERC de Morette also offers the option of flushing the young embryo from the uterus of your donor mare. This is done 7-8 days after ovulation. The embryo is then transplanted into the most suitable recepient mare, who then completes her gestation at the breeders place. The recepient mare only returns to the transplant centre after weaning.

Our vets have received specific training in flushing, manipulating and preparing the embryo for transport.

Multiple foals from the same mare in the same breeding season

Thanks to embryo transfer, several foals from the same mare can be born in the same breeding season. The donor mares can
continue their training without interruption.
